Zero distance for RMR mounted on top of 4X ACOG

I just mounted a RMR on top of mt 4X ACOG. I was wondering what the proper distance would be for zeroing the RMR? This will be for classes/range, SHTF/home defense, and possibly a patrol rifle down the road.

I would do 50 yards. The further out you zero the minimized the off set will be. If you zero for 25 yards with a mount that high up you chance of hitting past that will go down as the point of aim vs bullet impact will be further and further apart as the range increases.
