Which specifically says and confirms what Levinson says that there is no evidence this data is transferred to anyone.
The data being transmitted as mentioned in the article in the letter is different data used to better the connection / communication process.
I don’t know about Google and what they send from Android phones.

Your ISP is doing way more tracking then your iPhone could ever hope to do.
This seems like one of the scare stories they throw on the news from time to time to keep old people living in fear of all things electronic.
