The facility is on 2600 acres of property bordered by a little country road, that was a local farmer driving by.
They are all aware that there is a high probability of a lot of booms and loud noises during the day.
The telephoto lens is a bit misleading since it really shortens up the depth of field. He was probably about 800 meters away.
But I’m sure he got a surprise.

Adding an incendiary component to an non-incendiary exploding target is a bad idea. Putting a video on the internut to document your exploits is another bad idea. Never make the same mistake once… Just sayin’
Nobody was anywhere near the detonation, but I understand your concern, but it sure makes for great video with a telephoto lens. Maybe I should put all the necessary disclaimers, warnings and what-not on the video to ward off the idiots who may “try this at home.”
