You can tell it is winter and we are stuck indoors.

…by all the polls and movie references. The weather sucks so we cannot be outside shooting or inside planning to go shooting, so we start thinking of stuff to ask our circle of aquaintances on the Internet, or by posting inane items observing that people are posting such:p

Yeah…well at least in Ohio I don’t have to worry about hurricanes, snakes, spiders, or or, I will think of some other stereotype about FLA in a few minutes.

I just wish the snow had hung around a bit, its turning into the crunchy coating around the soft center of mud around here.

Hurricanes mean free time off from work, snakes make good pets, and spiders make good photographs.

Hey, and you’re in short sleeves.

Sat morning, 16 degrees, was still fine weather for shooting for me.

 Hurricanes, Snakes, Spiders

The Nordic folk have a saying “There’s no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing”

It good to train in bad weather to test clothing, gear, etc. Especially, your ability to cope and function appropriately.

Aye, problem of logistics raises its ugly head though. Property owner that I shoot at does not want me carving 3 foot ruts getting back to the range. So I want it to freeze the hell back up or dry the hell up, it being Ohio I know it will do neither.

Hump it leg!

Planning to do so, parking at upper lot and slip sliding down into the muck to do some shooting this weekend.

Damb Rob, is that your winter fur coming in? J/K

Rob…it helps if you put a loaded Mag in the weapon!

I see it was chilly enough for gloves though…

That’s the new Magpul “Chameleon” mag.

Pre-order list to follow.

Transition drills. Pat makes everyone start by running through them “dry”.

Yeah, it’s really nasty here in North Cental Florida too. I nearly had to put on a pair of socks to have my coffee on the front porch this morning.

That made me laugh
