has anyone got one on their m4 and is it any good,or should i go with the larue rail riser for my 512.
I’ve been using one for about 2-3 years. I havent had any problems with mine and dont see the need in getting the Larue.
I have one. I tried it on my work gun, where we have EO’s. I actually wouldn’t be allowed to use it, but wanted to see if it would work.
If you run a magnifier or NOD’s, and a BUIS, there won’t be enough room. So that ended that. The LaRue adds some rail space back there, so you can run the mag. or nods.
I have been running it on my MP-15-22, with no issues, but thats not much of a test.

I’ve been considering one of those for my only absolute co-witness optic… Please share your choice and experiences! The gun that optic is for is currently recalled (Why did I decide to get a Shrubmaster ACR anyways? It’s getting fuzzy…) so I haven’t bit the bullet on the riser yet.
I generally go for Larue. But I did not plan on removing my Eotech and never expected to add a magnifier so I did not see the added expense. Honestly this is the only thing that YHM makes that I care for.

I’ve used one with an XPS on an issued gun for awhile time without any problems. I don’t use a magnifier.
At the risk of thread derailment, I’ll just say… that is about the perfect carbine. Nice work.
thanks guys for the info,no i dont need the larue when the yhm will do the same thing for less money,i will give it a try.
Thank you. Pretty fond of it myself.![]()
Just get rid of that EOwreck and get a real man’s optic. ![]()
I hope you’re being sarcastic.
What, a Tasco ProPoint? ![]()
Here. Just so you know I don’t discriminate.![]()

If Aimpoint would find a reticle besides just a dot I would use them all the time. But I do prefer the reticle of the Eotech.
