Yes, you can do it too.

Wow! That’s great. How did the weight loss affect you as far as mentality, attitude, and general overall feeling?

That is quite a drop. What kind of diet was it?

Congrats! That is great to see.

1800 calorie. 20% carb (90 gram), 40% fat (80 gram), 40% protein (180 gram). Most carbs have to be from whole wheat sources. I avoid fruit, refined sugars, etc. I do cut lose from time to time. I never looked that big, as I am 6’1". Not a healthy diet, and potentially unsafe. Don’t attempt it unless you consult your doctor.

6933- I feel good about the loss… hopeful that it reversed the fatty liver. I’m low on energy due to the low carb aspect and my wallet notices the impact due to whey isolate supplementation.

Tell me about it. I supplement with Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey Gold Standard. I recently found that our local Costco carries it so that does help. I cannot remember the sources, but I did my due diligence on whey powders and Optimum Nutrition is probably the best whey product on the market. When I switched to ON from MusclePharm, I definitely noticed a diff. YMMV.

Just an update. This morning’s weight reading was 203 1/2. In the past two weeks, since having my kidney stone surgery, I have managed to lose 6 1/2 pounds. The first 2 pounds came off quickly since it was mostly liquid. It made me bloated. I now have 3 1/2 pounds to go to meet my goal. Tomorrow night is my dinner splurge, so the wife and I are going to Wendy’s for a burger and a Frosty. Breakfast is 1 cup of Multi-Grain Cheerios and 3/4 cup of fat free milk. Yummy.
