…this time a little bit particular.
I need to be able to see 5.56 hits on paper at 100 yards, no more. I currently have an 18-36 that works fine but seems like overkill.
the caveat here is that I’m looking for something as compact as possible with a hard case. It’s going to sit in the bottom of a shooting box for months at a time without use, but will need to work when I pull it out to use it.

I’m considering a pair of binoculars but am unsure what power to buy and am a bit wary about being able to hold them steady to see .22 holes at 100 yards. Thoughts on that option?
