Wyoming Passes Senate File 0047 (Concealed Carry)

The bill is heading to the governors desk to be signed into law. Here is the text of the amendment-

Provided you are 21, a resident of Wyoming, and eligible to posses a firearm, you can carry without a permit. I was hoping that it would drop the age requirement to 18 as well as open it up to non-residents but this is still a huge step forward.

Fantastic news and a step in the right direction. I think they should expand it to non-residents as well.

Exactly what I was thinking as I was reading it. I live 45min from Wyoming and travel to and through it quite often and wish they wrote this to apply to non-residents visiting. Hopefully H.R.822 will pass which will make my Colorado CCW permit valid in Wyoming is a non-resident as well as most other states.
