…Anyone own a RRA Dominator they would like to do some horse trading with?? I want to get my Eotech lowered and current set up is too high. If you have any other risers to work on a flat top, I’m open to ideas but like the dominator cuz the rear site is built on.
I had a RRA Entry Tac carry handle and never could figure out the reasoning behind that abortion?? Other than something that just looks different… I put mine in the bandsaw and made a few precision cuts and came out with an almost identical rear buis to the LMT one… If ya want pics of the finished product I’d be happy to send ya some… I just couldn’t figure out any other use for that sight… Perfect co-witness now of 100% with the Eo-tech on the flat top solo and 1/3rd with it on a YHM (cheapy $30.00 Eo-tech riser) but it works for now… Just an option… I’d be more than happy to email ya pics… Good luck, Jeff:D
Out of curiosity, yes I would like to see if but I really don’t have the machining tools to copy. I really don’t mind the tactical handle for open sight shooting, it just doesn’t work with an eotech as you can’t see the front sight. THe other riser I have listed has a hole drilled through it where I can sit on top of the handle and still shoot open but it puts the eotech so high up that I have to rest the bottom of my chin on the buttstock to shoot. It actually works and is a very heads up type system but I think it looks silly…I can post some pics if you want to get an idea and a laugh (just let me know). I am shooting it this way and I kinda like if for 50yds goofing off range fun.
It seems the dominator will get me in the cheapest and avoid getting a riser and flip sight. I have an acoount with rra and can get one at a good price but though I might work out a trade and make two folks happy. THis particular black gun is my play around and hope to pick up a sbr or even sabre where I can really deck out into a cool factor rig. It’s just not $$$$ wise on the the radar.
