What I have is a 2006 Emerson Commander BTS that I got about 6 months ago. When I got the knife, I noticed that the liners appeared to be alot thicker than the standard EKI liners were on other EKI knives. I took the knife apart and measured the liners to be 0.062 on the liner lock side and 0.060 on the opposite side. This is just shy of being the same thickness as the famed 1998 Commanders at 0.062 on both sides.
The knife was then put in my safe and never carred or used. I am in need of selling it because I have to fund a project for my work and need the cash. I think the knife is worth some money, but I am still going to ask less for it than the retail price ($219.00) of a standard Commander. Asking $200.00 shipped to any address.
