WTS....... Glock SS Replacement Captured Guide Rods

First off I’m not a dealer, I just like making parts when I have the time.

These are CNC from 303 Stainless Steel. Can be used with the factory spring, ISMI, Wolff(adaptor included) or your favorite brand. Specially designed capture bolt that not only retains the spring but also automaticly centers the end of the rod in the slide at the muzzle. I have them for the fullsize and compact models.

Kit includes:
[ul]
[li]Guide Rod
[/li][li]Hardened capture bolt
[/li][li]Wolff spring adaptor
[/li][li]Allen Wrench
[/li][/ul]

$13.50ea shipped, MO, Gearpay and checks(held until clear) accepted. I do have some ISMI springs if you need them, $8ea.

BTT

Thanks for the guide rod! So far so good in my G32 running both 357SIG and 9mm, using a LW conversion barrel. I’m very impressed and probably need to order a couple more for my G17 and G19.

I’m interested in possibly getting a couple of these. What spings do you recommend though…factory, ISMI, Wolff??

For 9mm I run a stock weight or #1 over ISMI
40S&W I run #20 ISMI
and in everything else I run #22 ISMI.

Are you able to make one slightly longer to fill the gap in the G34/35 models?

I’m not sure why you want one longer. But the problem is when the slide cycles the guide rod tips at a different angle then the barrel. A longer rod will hit the inside of the “g/rod tube”(dust cover) below the slide barrel hole. The factory g/rod just barely clears as it is and a longer rod might cause problems with the retaining bolt catching on the slide. The pic below shows the angle of the g/rod about half way through the slide cycle and as you can see, if you had a longer g/rod it could cause problems.

Looks good. Not to hi-jack the thread. Have you figured out anything with the Advantage Arms thread adapters for the 22lr conversion? I am looking for something to replace the Walther P22.

VA_Dinger, who did you e-mail?

I had a little set-back with the local machine shop. The owners wife put the stop on any work on the barrels. So I found another firearms friendly shop to get things going again. Will post an up-date ASAP.
