I bought this from the original owner, It’s not a “safe queen” but a quality built user by Boening Custom Guns, and then later massaged by Jay Crowder of Elite Custom,
The slide to frame fit is the best I have ever felt. It’s tight and smooth, but not overly tight, its the ball bearing feel we all want.
It has a Yost rear sight, and Tritium front, the rear of the slide is also serrated
The original build sheet was $1734.45 without the EGW Silver Solder mag well was added later at an additional $250.00.
In August of last year the original owner had Jay Crowder of Elite Custom replace all MIM parts with Ed Brown, replace sights and do some jeweling, and re-blue the gun at a cost of $465.55.
All said and done the original owner had $2450.00 into the gun.
I have the build sheets for whoever wants them, also the beavertail will need to be refit as it has some slide to side slop, like 1mm. Custom pistol maker John Harrison chargers 35-50 dollars for this. Or you could install a beavertail with a .250 radius
I’d like to keep this FTF in Central Texas and the buyer must be legal to own and provide valid TXDL, or will ship.
Trades would be p30 mags and cash.
