You logged on to the forum at 09:30 in the morning. You either did not notice my IM or you chose to ignore it. Either way I considered that you did not wish to sell at my offer so I withdrew my offer.
Now you post in the open forum your displeasure, instead of PM’ing the response and keeping it between the 2 of us, very well. You wish to use your job with the ongoing war as an excuse. Sir you must realize that you are not the first to sacrifice for an ongoing war. Only sir, my sacrifice was 39 years ago and it was much more than a " Day Job ".
So unless your “sacrifice” includes an uniform and facing hostile fire please do not use our servicemen’s real sacrifice as your excuse.

Yes it is in uniform for the last 21 years and I did see your IM at 9:30 but did not have time to reply until I did so. YES I pulled a 31+ HR Day in-between. BTW every one in DOD is either “facing hostile fire” or training and preparing for it. To insinuate the DOD personnel not actually in CENTCOM at this instant are somehow not a vital asset to the war effort and actively engaged in that war effort is insulting and / or naïve.

charliem, if you think contractors do it just for the money, youre higher than a kite. Glad you served your country, so did I. And in any war zone, its more than “just a day job”.
You know I thought this was settled but evidently you for some reason have to chime in.
First: no one was speaking of anyone in a war zone. Second: I am hardly " higher than a kite". Last: I have a friend in the war zone as a contractor instructing the Iraqi police. I had a friend in Bosnia during that action.
This was settled by myself and 2011 BLDR. I don’t believe anymore can be accomplished by someone not involved in the dispute making remarks about being " higher than a kite" or inserting their 2 cents into the matter. This matter was resolved privately and I would ask that anyone not involved refrain from making remarks or interjecting themselves into this further. I would think anyone as eloquent as your avatar shows you to be, will understand that.

You know I tried to be reasonable and explain that this was settled and it wasn’t worth stiring it up again. However I can tell by your sterling knowledge of the english language and volcabulary that that isn’t going to work for you.
You really need to seek help with whatever issues you have that make you so angry and and verbally challenged. Perhaps the VA could help if you have issues from your time in the service or maybe they don’t have programs for REMFS or Armchair Commandos.
Try getting a life of your own and stop injecting yourself into other peoples affairs or how did you so wonderfully put it??? oh yes, Go pound sand.
