I have a Kurt’s Kustom Firearms (KKF) Mid-length 16" barreled upper chambered in 5.45x39. This was built by the now deceased Kurt using a new Bulgarian AK74 chrome lined barrel. Barrel is skinny all the way and makes for a very light rifle.
I have put three tins of Russian surplus 52/53 grain through it with the only issue being getting/maintaining good functioning mag’s. Upper has never developed any corrosion ever. I kept it well lubed. This is a complete upper to include a modified Colt bolt and S&W carrier but does not include any rear sight. Very smooth shooter as it’s a middy. No Mag, No heavy spring & no rear sight.
