go to marsgear or cheaper than dirt and get the molle. just ordered one from mars in OD. it’s nice. $46 or so. CTD had them cheaper but OOS on OD.
I was hoping to find something U.S. made, if possible. I have also heard mixed reports on those bags. honestly, for the amount of use I will give it, I am sure it would be fine for me, but I may just hold out until the SERT bags hit the market again…
I have an I-Shot for my SBR and have absolutely no complaint. It’s spent the last year in the trunk of my little Honda Civic and is still going strong. It may not have been made in the US, but the guy who started I-Shot is one heck of an American (and a nice guy).
If the cost of labor in the US was not so high, then it would be something I would take into account. But as he put it, he could have had the case made here; but it would have been either (a) Too expensive for anyone to consider. OR (b) not of the quality he demands of his products. JM2CW.
Got my CTD OD bag in this week, for the money its a solid bag. I managed to fit my 20" Ar and my 870 in it (with the carry handle on the AR taken off of course)
I let this slip for a bit while I picked-up a new handgun. Back at it now and still need a case. If anyone has one for sale, drop me a note and let me know what you have.

i have not used the TAG but i have an I-SHOT SERT with two TAG 3X MAG MOLLE SHINGLES (6 mags per pouch,12 in all) in the outside pocket on the I-SHOT. the plastic insert in the bag makes it much more rigid than other bags i have used and the MOLLE webbing covers the intire inside of both the main compartment and the outer pocket.i also a Spec-Ops Pack Rat which measures about 8x10 that slides in between the two mag shingles .the TAG shingles also have a plastic insert so it makes everything that much more rigid but they are way high in the price dept.any MOLLE mag pouches will do. inside the main compartment i have two Maxpedition molle pouches (3x5 and 4x6) which sit under the barrel .the options that the MOLLE webbing provide you for mounting pouches/storage are awesome! sorry but i don’t have a way to post any pics right now.i have not put it through any real rough situations but it has held up great so far. anyways,it is hands down the best bag i have used for an AR,for whatever thats worth.lol.
Thanks for the great response! I have it narrowed down between Eagle and i-Shot. The Eagle I was looking at is a LE/MIL version, so it is tough to get my hands on it seems. Then, the good folks at i-shot won’t respond to me…which leaves me bag-less
