I am trying to track down a complete A1 buttstock assembly w/trapdoor for a build. Anybody got a line on a good deal? Prefer new and in black but definitely interested in used/surplus in other colors if the price is right. It is for a shooter, not a piece of man jewelry.
I see that Sarco has used A1 assemblies for $45. Anybody have experience with this product?

Man! I can remember when cdnninvestments was practically giving them away.
If I remember right, they’d throw a complete stock kit in if you bought a COLT M-16A1 upper.
I found a complete (used) A1 assembly from Sarco for $44.50 + $9.00 shipping. The part number is AR142. According to Liz at Sarco, the assembly includes buffer, tube and spring. I am going with that. Thanks.
