With the recent P-Mag boom, your gain can be the gain of someone not so fortunate. Right now, there are scores of AR-15 shooters living in ban states, (like Massachusetts) who cannot wake to a morning of P-Mag goodness. They are restricted by arcane laws to only having pre-ban magazines. Won’t you help? For just 30-cents a day…
If you’re cleaning out the range box and have pre-ban, non date coded USGI 20 or 30rd magazines, we can have them here and I know of folks who can use them. NIW is a bonus, but if they’re in good shape, function and are sanely priced, drop me a PM…Thanks for caring and enjoy your P-Mag freedom!
Thanks Doc - you guys have all been just awesome. Figured I’d bump this up again for anyone looking to thin their herd of pre-ban USGI Ar-15 30’s and 20’s. There’s particular interest in 20’s, so if you have some, drop me a PM and I’ll find them a home fast…I thank you.
Just figured I’d give this another bump in case you lucky P-Mag-ers want to feed the need for preban USGI’s. Still in search of pre-ban USGI 20’s and 30’s and have a no hassle way to free them from you…Thanks for looking drop me a PM if you can help.
i have about 20, 30 round mags that fit the description which i will trade for P-Mags at the rate of 3 for 2…, let me know by PM if interested.
thank you
Which mags were generally made without date stamping?
That IS exactly what you are looking for, correct? I mean, were ALL mags made during the ban stamped with a date?
IOW’s, ANY MAG made BEFORE the ban will not have a date?
How about mags made AFTER the ban, from 2004 and up? Are they generally made with date stampings, or are there some with NO date stamping, which were made after 2004?
I know all my PMAGS and D&H Mags have dates, but I’m just trying to figure this out, so I can possibly help in the near future.
Thanks.
Paul: Thanks so much for your reply! Generally, post 1994 high caps were date coded, or marked LEO only - still many are unmarked. Obviously, we can’t be trusted with P-Mags, or newer USGI’s, so what I look for is older mags from LaBelle, Cooper, Okay, Colt, etc…If there’s no date codes on the floorplates or mag bodies and are not new manufacture, we’re generally GTG. An almost sure-win is USGI’s with black followers - they seem to all be pre-ban. In a strange twist, magazine parts are not illegal here in Massachusetts - not even by a long shot. Some are buying newer complete mags disassembled into “rebuild kits”… go figure…This state is crazy man…crazy…
Thanks Richard1 - I sent you a PM back - consider them sold if the price works out. I’ll be hit and miss for a bit through the weekend, but will answer all…Thanks again you guys rule…
