Wow! Sticker shock...

Popped into a LGS today & there sat 2 Colt 6940 Sporter M4’s @ an even $3000 each. I’ll be glad when the insanity ends.

I didn’t know Gunbroker had a brick-and-mortar store.:sarcastic:

I can’t even go into a Local gun shop because of this it makes me want to scream i saw a Colt 6920 sell on gunbroker for 3500 a few weeks back.

even have friends calling me wanting ammo and to see if i have any “Good deals” because i sold 3 lowers back before all the panic buying happened at cost and they thought that was to high :blink:now I hear the same “i sure wish i bought that lower from you”

it floors me that people knew this was coming and now having to pay big money for Anything AR related .

I have one friend that was smart and i got him to get a Colt just before the crazy hit but he did not buy Ammo so he is always begging me to sell him some of what i am sitting on UGH it drives me crazy

My fear is that this isn’t a simple point in time that will “pass”, but more of a plateau that will be at this level for the foreseeable future. - john

Agree. At least a year.

If you can figure out what it says, don’t worry about the spelling  Tapatalk+Autocorrect

One thing’s for sure, prices will fall a lot slower than they shot up. Thank you BHO.

Couple thoughts.

  1. Distributors have been raising prices to dealers.
  2. Dealers are going to great lengths to secure guns and ammo (thusly paying way too much for them).
  3. Dealers normally would have been able to pick up the phone and get most any gun they wanted 1-2 weeks). This isn’t the case any more. So when they do get something, they need to make the same amount of money on it as they would 3-5 guns (under normal conditions) because if they don’t they will get any more.

Just some input from the other side of the fence.

We all get that prices are crazy and have been so for a while.
