I’m thinking of doing it with my KAC micro rear sight, and LWRCi gas block sight, which are REALLY low profile, and was wondering if the T1 would be horribly obstructed if I put it on before I bought the LaRue mount for it.
Does anybody know? I don’t want to do it yet, because I don’t want to screw up the zero I already have on it, if this isn’t going to work.
Don’t believe the setup you’re describing will work…
The stock Aimpoint Micro mount is way too low for an AR flat top upper.
Even if your back up irons don’t obscure the sight picture in the folded down position, you will be unable to achieve any sort of co-witness once flipped up.
You should just wait for the Larue mount. Also, be careful as to not strip the mount screws when removing.
No…As SPM14430 stated it sits far to low with stock mount not to mention not being able to achieve proper cheek weld at least with my big head
You’d have to hold the rifle gangster style to use the sight.
Lowest would be the laRue medium - which still can cowitness with AR irons, but that’s a low as it goes. Next lowest would be the ADM Co.
