I saw the above caption linked on a news site.
This pistol is supposedly issued to a police agency in Brazil.
Roughly translated: “This gun is truly a piece of shit. Im just glad it is not a SIG” ![]()

Okie John
It is a Taurus (Brazil) 24/7 DS in 40 S&W.
Yeah, the article is about a year past current for coming up with that idea.
Here is the thread about the issue when Taurus recalled 98k pistols in Brazil due to the gun goes bang without the finger on the trigger.

It’s not a defect. It’s Taurus’ innovative “shake to fire” feature.
Taurus has made the trigger obsolete!![]()
Haha!
Where do I get one?
Trigger & Safety Obsolete and an abbreviated manual of arms… KISS at it’s finest !!!
I know most of us aren’t too worried about this because, why the hell did you buy a Taurus anyway? But, I work with a guy who carries one of the compact versions. Am I correct in reading that there is not a US recall and that it is only for these full sized, issued in Brazil guns?
Ugh, everyone is going to think I carry a Taurus now.
Real operators don’t need no stinkin triggers. This actually the scared old lady model, once the threat get closer to scared old lady her hands start shaking so bad the weapon fires. Practically the best result for those still scared to pull the trigger on an attacker.
