Does the Woolrich Elite line run pretty true to size? Or should I order bigger or smaller than usual?

RD62,
I wear a 34 waist in the original Royal Robbins 5-11 pants, Most of my other clothes jeans and dress pants are a 36 lately . I ordered 34 waist Woolrich elite lightweight pants and they were a little too tight, I could have worn them but I was afraid after a couple of washes I would wear them no more. I ordered a 36 waist and all is good. Woolrich elite lightweights are great, I would say that they run pretty true to size.
one thing to consider is that the sides of the Woolrich pants have the elastic feature which gives it a bit more wiggle room.
I wear a 34W 32L in jeans & khakis, but I buy a 34W 34L in Woolrich.
For me, the waist was good, but the inseam was short; especially in their temperate weather models. I am about to return two pairs for one size longer.
5.11 are short for me two.
One negative about them–and 5.11–they are too tight around the ankles.
They are true to fit. I just ordered some shirts and polo from Botach tactical, they’re on sale there.
How so?
I actually find this to be the case as well. Especially if I order them with my “too short” length of 32 and in the lightweight. The cuffs will ride up over my boots when sitting or squatting and are too small in diameter to fall back down over them again.
Minor annoyance, and I don’t think I’d want the alternative (too big of a cuff).
Pretty much what Rob said. They don’t fully cover the shoe. Other than that I like them.
Interesting. I’ve never noticed the issue, as I wear mine long enough that they never leave the shoe. Thanks guys.
