WML For Hk45C?

As the title says… What are you guys using for a WML on your Hk45C? Neither a X300 nor a TLR will fit the rail due to the length (to short).

I heard rumor that a new Surefire something or other will fit, but I cant find any details in all of my searches.

Anyone have any details on a QUALITY WML for this awesome pistol? I prefer a Surefire product if at all possible.

What I remember is Surefire had a x300-ish wml at SHOT last year that was a mock up of sorts. It had a single battery and was supposed to fit on a 45c, IIRC.
I have no idea where this light is at as far as a timetable for release, but I and many others I’m sure will be excited to see it if and when it actually is available and up to par.
Til then, I’ve been using a tlr-1 tightened down pretty snug, and for now this works for me.

I saw that also… I was hoping to avoid bastardizing such a great pistol and am hoping to find a quality (pref. a SF) WML that actually fits the pistol.

I am surprised that Hk made such a stupid design flaw on what is a very well thought out, and well built pistol. I love the pistol but dayum, kinda a bummer about the silly rail that nothing fits on. :suicide:

I’m pretty sure GG&G makes an adapter of sorts to fit normal lights, other than the one that they sold with the USP. (Which I have one of, and is kind of a piece of crap…)

The Insight X2 fits the HK45C. I think I also remember that Crimson Trace was making a light for the HK45C and may have had one at SHOT on the CTC Defense stand. The extra short rail makes it a little limited for choices.

My feelings exactly. I am very happy with everything about my 45c LEM except the rail.

I did notice on LA Police Gear’s website they list the mini-X300 as coming in 2012. Hopefully this is accurate, and these become available soon.

You can mod an X300 to fit without dicking with the expensive parts of the light.
