I have several 9mm guns. I prefer to use Speer GD +P 124 gr. as my (EDC) Every Day Carry ammo in 9mm.
A friend told me about SGAMMO selling the Winchester Q4392 government overrun ammo for a very low price. I went there and checked it out and they state that it’s the RA9B ammo relabeled Q4392. I know Winchester makes some great bonded and non bonded bullets (Ranger T-Series). Does this 9mm ammo (Q4392) fall into this category? Does anybody here use this as their self defense ammo? Before I buy any of it I just want to know from actual shooters of how it performs.
Also, some have said it was the same bullet as the PDX1. Is this true?
As far as I can tell it’s the same load as pdx1 just repackaged for le sales.
If you want the “real” bonded, sgammo has the +p: https://www.sgammo.com/product/winchester/500rd-9mm-p-124gr-ranger-bonded-hollow-point-ra9ba
Thank You Bluto.
I did a GOOGLE search on this ammo and found some great information. There’s a post here from years ago that came up in my search. From what I read about this ammo, it’s a good self defense ammo for carry and home protection.
I’m going to purchase a few boxes, and some of the ammo you posted as well, Bluto.
