Wilson Combat is excited to announce we have finalized a deal with Marty ter Weeme of Teppo Jutsu to build .458 SOCOM AR uppers. These uppers will be built to Wilson Combat exacting standards using match grade barrels and bolts supplied by Teppo Jutsu and will be backed by the legendary Wilson Combat service policy.

Initial offerings will be as follows:

Recon SR upper using a 14.7" mid-weight stainless barrel and a permanently attached suppressor brake or AccuTac flash hider
Recon upper using a 16.1" mid-weight stainless barrel with AccuTac flash hider
HB (heavy barrel) upper using a 16.1" heavy stainless barrel with AccuTac flash hider

All uppers will feature a Wilson Combat lo-profile adjustable gas block so they can be “fine tuned” to the customers preferred load.

We expect pricing to be similar to our 6.8 SPC uppers and hope to be shipping product late April/early May.

You should make a suppressor available to match the upper. We’re getting ready to be allowed to hunt with cans here in Indiana, and I know that’s happened several other places too. If I could hunt with a suppressed .458 SOCOM I might get excited about going once in a while.

Are there any additional plans to sell .458 parts ?
Barrels / Bolts / Stripped uppers with the enlarged ejection ports ?
