will this work with magpul moe handguards

anyone know if the MOE handguards will work with this upper? will they clear a “mid weight profile” barrel?

Negative, for now at least.

Right now magpul only makes carbine length handguards 7"

Mid length is 9"

Mid length and rifle length handguards are due out this fall.

I have the C6 on my BCM mid length

will the heat sheilds clear the heavier barrel? from the photos i have seen it looks like a fairly narrow channel for the barrel at least in the carbine length one.

Yep, they’ll clear a heavy barrel. If its close you can bend the heat shield a little.
