Will a side sling adapter fit a 6940?

I am looking for a side sling adapter that fits under the FSB and clamps on the barrel. The flip up sight on the 6940 doesn’t have the same clearance as a normal FSB however I am not sure if there is still enough room in there for one of these or not.

I know that the rail has a QD release but 1: They left the sling swivel out of my accessories kit and 2: I prefer the type that mount up on the barrel.

Since none of my local shops have any of these in stock I can’t test it out before I purchase it so I thought I would come to you.

My suggestion would be to buy a QD swivel and not to put a sling mount on your free floated barrel.

There is a reason why none of your local shops have that version in stock.

Is there a problem with them? MV you are right I am probably better off picking up a swivel.

The whole point of the 6940 is to free float the barrel. If you are just going to attach a sling to the barrel, you probably would have been better off with a 6920.
