Why was my thread closed?

I had a well written description of a problem. “Problem with LMT upper”. I got one answer and then the thread was closed. There was no bashing of any manufacturer or rudeness.

Why?

Rule #4 violation, nothing personal. Contact LMT first.
BTW an H2 buffer with .223 pressure ammo in a stock LMT upper is asking for short stoking.

Premature closure IMO, it was a performance question and LMT was not blamed. I’d be upset also.

I agree with the above, try a standard buffer and your issues should go away.

It was ridiculous to close this thread - there is no manufacturer to contact. My post clearly stated that the upper was LMT and the BCG was BCM. Therefore, it is technically a parts gun. Besides, before I contact LMT or BCM it is prudent to do some homework first. That is a manufacturers dream for it’s customers.

I asked the same question in a more indirect way in another post. The answers were snippy and evasive and incomplete on purpose in my opinion.

This board does not have the audience that some of the other boards have. I do not see this as a way to increase participation.

If you have an issue with what a mod or staff did, work with that person via PM-don’t start by beginning a new thread and carrying on about it.

Take this as some friendly advise.

Maybe it was closed prematurely but he did awnser your question. That was an easy diagnosis so unless you wanted to hear the same thing from ten different people then the thread lived out its life appropiatly
