I never read any articles or threads about this ammo. Hasn’t gets a lot of talk. Ranger Bonded and Gold Dot is always at the tops of people’s list. Why not the federal? Is it a well kept secret or is it just not that good?
I get the odd weight of the 9mm. I’m a .40 shooter for the most part so that’s not a big factor for me.
It’s great stuff…if you can find it. Since it is more expensive, I don’t think Federal is making much of it these days in comparison to their standard HSTs.

It shows up in the regular police supply distributors. SG-Ammo has some every once in a while as well. I’d buy it without hesitation if there wasn’t any Gold Dot available.
