I refuse to every buy anything from Knights. I asked if they were planing to release a civilian version of the the KAC PDW and this was how the conversation went:

Hmmm, so a 16" barrel version would be more lethal to body armor than
an AR in 5.56 or an AK and a 7.63x39 round? I mean I’m familiar with
the ballistics of your new round but most rifle rounds penetrate body
armor. Hell even FN chose a different route with its round. As for
the short barrel, I’m sure many, including myself, would not mind
filling out a form 4 for an SBR.
Never heard a response back after that … There ANTI-Civi elitist view on will guarantee I never buy a weapon with their name on it or one of their components. If anyone wants to email the person who sent me this response here is their info:
