Looked more like intel/instructor types. Small arms for defense, no armor. These weren’t fighters but trainers or observers. No major faux pas here, they saw press and left. Hell, we used to do that when we wore uniforms. You can’t go anywhere these days without there being a camera around.
Which is why the US armed forces haven’t won any major wars since the invention of portable video recorders.
Were they invented after Iraq II? Cause that sure looks like a win to me.

We have won lots of small wars… haven’t fought a major war against another country or group of countries of similar strength in 70 years.
OK, well lots of experts point to media involvement as one of the major reasons for losing the Vietnam War.
I guess I’m not brushed up enough on my military history to claim any other facts.
