Laser seems to be a good option to hand cut stippling being that there are more options for patterns. Has anyone used a specific company they can recommend?
If you are doing a Glock, Wilson Combat does good work.
I got a wood burning kit off amazon for under $20. It came with multiple heads, and with a little practice you can achieve some cool textures. Maybe practice on an ar15 cheap removeable grip before going to a glock frame thats more expensive. Personally I re-stippled my glock like 3 times and its still fine. I was even able to turn a really bad first job and a really deep second job into a good micro 3rd job.
Bentline’s texture looks incredible.
To be frank, the only reason I’d get a Glock stippled is if it was part of a total grip reduction package. I’ve handled guns done by Boresight Solutions and they are excellent, but I didn’t get to shoot them. I’ve also handled one ColdBore Glock and it was nice as well. Wilson does nothing other than put a cool pattern on the sides of the grip.

Arguably, laser “engraving” of the frame is the better method as it does not appreciably heat the material in the same way that a soldering iron does. Whether it’s worth it or not is another question but OP has apparently decided that FOR HIM it may be.

If something is worth doing, it may as well be done right. If the owner is happy that’s what matters, but if I can prevent someone else producing an diy abomination my job is done. In any case one could say it a waste of money investing $300.00 into a $400.00 Glock. I would say it’s a waste of money turning a $400.00 Glock into a $100.00 Glock with shoddy work but to each his own

I have stippled two of my own glocks so I am able, I just want higher quality than I am capable of producing.
I believe San Antonio Laser Engraving has done a few. They are on BookFace and IG.
If I were to modify and stipple a pistol this is the company I would consider to do the work.
