I’m interested in the Barrel Chop.
Is it a chop down to 18 inches? Who done didded it? Any port mods needed?
Both CMMG and RRA do 18" barrels with rifle length gas systems, if that’s what you are looking to get. I had ADCO chop my 16" to 14.5" several years ago. They did an excellent job.
I have a 20 that I might consider giving the chop to.
I had a 20" gov’t profile chopped to 16" and while it handled great it wouldn’t run unless clean, well lubed, and using hot ammo. Ended up selling it off because I didn’t want to tinker with it. I’d imagine a 18" would handle almost as well and run a lot better!
One of my instructors did the 16 inch chop. He openned the port up quite a bit to get it to run.

Cool. I like the A1 stock too. I saved that older pic of your gun back in August. I kept seeing it and finally had to ask about the barrel.
