A vuddy just got an M4orgery but he cant stand seeing the front sight base in the scope. Whom makes replacement front fight assemblies that have a “rail” or nothing at all. A simple “bolt on”.
You can YouTube a video for shaving the top off. If not, Vltor and bcm make good ones. For a beater gun, a YHM should work fine as well. YMMV.

If you don’t plan of covering the front sight with a rail, this is as close as you can get with a flip up front sight to the original fixed front sight as a clamp on.
I have one on my franken 16" midlength and it works as advertised without any problems.
