I am looking for the most accurate AR upper in both 223 and 308. I am looking for the best 500 and 800 yard upper.
The lenth and barrel design are not a concern for me. I am looking for the best, regardless of price.
I would appreciate info on the accuracy of the following models at any available yardage:
Bushy 24" flueted varmiter (or v-match) 223
Bushy 20" stainless 223
DPMS 24" bull special 223
DPMS LR308
Rock River 24" Varmit A4 223
Rock River LAR10-A4 Varmit 308

I had one of these, very accurate. 5 rounds just over 1/2 moa at 100 yards.
I never shot it past 200 or 300 yards though. But it has the wylde chamber so anything that fits in the magazine will fit the chamber.
I don’t know much about which AR10’s are the best so I won’t comment on those. BM and RRA use some of the cheapes barrels available so if you want a REALLY good AR, look for a company uses a better barrel or have someone build you a custom gun.

Nothing on that list is special… you could get a 1 hole shooter or an inconsistent POS. Those are all mass produced cookie cutter uppers that you would be gambling on.
Get one of the guys here to build you something much nicer. If you got cash to burn, pick any of the boutique barrel makers… most barrels from WOA, Lilja, Rock, Shillen, Krieger, Schnieder, PacNor, Boots etc… and so on will probably have more sample variation between identical barrels than between others so long as they are properly cut, profiled and chambered. The psychological preference of a name you like will do more for your accuracy, IMO. So just pick one and have an experienced custom builder work on it.
