I have a buddy looking to pick up a pair of flip up sights both front and rear in O.D. Green. I know there’s black and I’ve seen some FDE but haven’t seen any green to my recollection. The front one will go on a gas block thus magpul would be out. I don’t recall if they make a green though.

How are those midwest sights? I haven’t heard too much about them.
I’ve never used the colored ones but in my opinion as far as BIUS my preferences start at Troy and KAC. I do not like Arms, Magpul, Yankee Hill and GG and G. The MI are in between in my opinion. I think in some areas MI products are somewhat under rated.
Another reason not to purchase based on color is that everybodies OD green looks different. I ran into that issue years ago when I gave a shit about how things looked.
Buy the best stuff you can where it matters. At the end, when you have a multi colored gun, paint it if it bothers you.
