Just looking for a good Working Mans Holster for a big old Revolver
Model 28, both six and four inch barrels.
Did you go ahead and pickup a 6” too? Or just thinking ahead?

Did you get to shoot the 4” yet? Or did it just seduce you to get the 6” without even firing a shot?
About fifty rounds yesterday, very impressed.
Its more accurate than I am and I was think about the sight radius and, there you go.
Well, and the way men judge length, if you buy the 6” you can actually lay claim to having the 8” version. So there you go. 
I just recently grabbed some for a 27-5 and 25-2 and here is what I looked at.
Leather - Simply Rugged, Barranti, Grizzle, Galco, DeSantis, Kirkpatrick
Kydex - Garrett
Simply has some in-stock, but I ordered one for my 66-1 see below. Ordering is pain free and their quality and craftsmanship is well documented.
Garrett makes leather lined kydex holsters and this is for an N frame with a QLS fork on the back.
Grizzle is worth looking at with a larger lead-time. Barranti is a classic leather outfit for revolvers, I ordered 2 N frame 4” and 8” along wth another one for my 66-1 4”. Hank Slone model plain (Fancy Below)

Very Nice, I really like the last one.
Comp-Tac makes some kydex ones that work well. I have several for L-frames and K-frames. They do offer them for N-frames as well.

I went cross draw bianchi for my SW model 58 with 6 inch barrel. Strong side was too difficult to draw and got in the way while hunting. I have a Grizzle leather custom for my SW model 13. Nice holster and worth the wait time.
