Long story short some friends of mine were approached by this guy Ralph Severe on another site telling them that for $20 bucks a person he could teach them more tactical training than they will ever get from any of the “gurus” as he puts it. I take it he meant Industry Professionals. Below is a link to a video of his training in East Texas, under the name of Divine Mountain Tactical Training of Dallas.

Now after watching that, has anyone heard of this man claiming to be a professional trainer? If this is posted in the wrong section, my apologies, I thought it would go here as it is a training related inquiry.
At 3:30… it looks like he’s looking over the gun.
oh god! make it stop!
What exactly are we trying to accomplish? Those guys are moving around so damn much they would be lucky to hit a barn. I see no point to what they are doing and how they are doing it.
Watch how they transition to sidearm. they take forever to properly cradle the damn rifle instead of using the sling and being able to drop and swap.
Bad music, bad drills (can we call them drills?), no group accountability or size. I had to turn it off after tubs switched to sidearm and ran up to the target and shot at point blank range.
save the $20!!!
I could be wrong… I am not trained in ninja and these guys could be as good as they claim. I have never before been to a carbine class (really high on the priority list though), but I can tell you that is utter rubbish.
I am sure that it would be fun as hell to run around and blow through ammo like that, but that is not training.
Take my advice for what its worth (not much).
He wouldn’t get my money regardless. I will only attend a course from any of the number of proven Industry pros here on this site.
This is exactly what my post was about two weeks ago. There are so many retards out there calling themselves tactical guru’s its ridiculous! BTW, they need some serious work on their reloads!
I remember Togakure Ninjutsu:ph34r: from the UK. Personally I could not take them tooooo seriously.
Here is some exciting footwork for you:

That all looks cool, But I know a nine year old asian who could kick their a$$!
LOL watchin the chubby one run and shoot…
Hey, is that the same Chubby one in the shootin vid and in the Ninja vid???
that cameraman’s either got some gigantic balls or has no clue that having a lot of loaded guns pointed straight at you in the midst of live-firing is generally considered a bad thing
Was wondering about that too…
Could it be on some kinda mount system???
Or Blanks? Didn’t see any blank adapters… Not sure if they are really needed though, never shot any… Wouldn’t want to be on the Muzzel end either way…
knowing how a lot of these yahoos operate, i’d be really surprised if it was anything other than pointing loaded guns at each other during live firing.
$20 bucks… i wouldnt get anywhere near these guys if they paid me.
…which is sufficient evidence that he’s lying. The genuine articles in the business do not have to resort to the strangers with candy and a rusty van routine to get students. When their come-on is eerily similar to being propositioned by a hooker, it would be a clue as to their value as an “instructor”.
Now after watching that, has anyone heard of this man claiming to be a professional trainer?
Anyone can claim to be a professional trainer. Just about anyone can claim to teach people firearms skills, and some of them who make that claim may actually teach classes and may actually be paid money by the unwitting to “teach”. Now one does not necessarily need to have been the most decorated guy in a Tier 1 unit to teach you how to shoot a pistol, but when their opening line is something about how they can teach you more than anybody else despite having a murky background and questionable experience, it’s a fair bet that they are hucksters at best, and downright dangers to themselves and others at worst.
If they actually use the phrase “high-speed, low drag” as a serious attempt at marketing, this would be another little sign from God that you should probably spend your hard earned training dollar elsewhere.
In short, no…no one has heard of this guy because in the great big ocean of the training world he’s a guppie trying to swim with sharks. We all know how that usually ends.
This is F2S’s forum to mod, so I shall refrain from locking this thread in the hopes he will use his unique gift of language to give the thread a proper benediction as only he can.
Somewhere I read that was a 4 hour course too…
So he is like 5 buckks an hour per person??? WTF…
Thanks everyone for your input. I could tell this guy was BS I just wanted to see if anyone else had heard of him. If F2S wants to lock the thread I am fine with that. And yeah this guy would not get a dime out of me he sounds like all talk and no go on his ninja vids too. Thanks again everyone all of your opinions count for more than you know IMO. That’s why I love this place.
oh dear. i guess they run check drills via telepathy.
I don’t know what’s bigger; the chicken wing he’s sporting or his clown shoes.
:bad:
Wow…i had to stop that before the 3 minute mark. So many bad things going on in that short time. Good thing would be to avoid him like the plague!
I’m pretty sure that anyone with any reasonable deduction skill will be able to make their conclusion without my opinion.
It your cash, who do you think is going to make the best transformation from paper to skill?
