White paint on new Colt bolt

I bought a new Colt 6720, field stripped it to lubricate it, and found a weird white mark on the bolt. It appears to be liquid paper or paint. I have not fired the gun, nor have I tried to remove the white stuff beyond scratching it with my finger nail.

Has anyone seen anything like this before?

It’s just a mark to show that is has passed this or that inspection.

Totally normal and a simple search of the site would reveal that this is standard.
