Having tours of the White House is symbolic in that it shows the world that the home of our leader is not a king’s castle or dictator’s mansion. It shows that it’s still accessible by the people. As stupid as it sounds, ending tours is still bullshit.

Don’t the forget the golf trips. I read somewhere that the current operational cost of Air Force One is just under $180,000 per hour. Add the cost of shutting down airports, airspace, roads & highways; plus the escort fighters, support aircraft, support vehicles, local LE support just so he can play a round of golf with likes of Tiger Woods.
I suspect that closing down White House Tours should about cover the cost of those trips. :rolleyes:

I agree with Britt Hume this is the first president that instead of trying to calm the public is trying to put massive fear in the public over something that is not even real ? since they have more money than last year but they still call it a cut !!!
