Might as well share some pictures and info on my newest build, pretty much all done, just need to figure out what kind of optic I want to run on this thing now! Opinions?

The goal here was to build a quality, lighter weight rifle right the first time around. I took my time with this one and built it over time, bought the parts that I wanted and didn’t scrimp to get it finished quicker. What’s it for? Well, just about anything. Plinking out in the desert, range run, or even home defense (not quite sure I’d choose an AR for home defense though…). Basically this upper and lower combo was built to be a quality do it all rifle. Go out in the Arizona desert, take a EAG class, throw on a bullet button and shoot at a CA range.
As for the optic, my standard suggestion is T-1/H-1, but it really depends on what you plan to use the rifle for. If you can’t afford the micro Aimpoint, look at the PRO.
Yeah, first attempt. Went ahead and did part of my M&P9c in addition. Honestly, I think I would like to go with a 1-4, I’m just not keen on how they look with a FSB at all. Either change up the upper a bit and go with a 1-4, micro with a magnifier, or acog (depending on how I end up liking them). I’ve got months to decide on an optic, so there is no rush!
