It depends on how high off the ground you want to be. I like the BRMS model, which is the 6-9" height (will work with a 30 round mag), has notched legs for ease of adjustment (instead of the friction fit ones), and has a swivel base for shooting on uneven ground.
Adco sells this model with a pod locking lever for $105 or so.
If you want taller 9"-13", then get the LMS model.
I have several Harris bipods I bought for hunting. I don’t remember the specifics, but they come in several heights. All of them are swivel base and don’t have the notches. The swivel base makes my life easier. The As far as notches, for quick action, I pull the pods out all the way and it locks, for range work, I pull it out to the length I need and turn the friction knob.
I probably use a fairly tall one for shooting from a sitted posistion most of the time at the range and hunting.
If you are playing sniper or shooting from a bentch or prone, you will need something fairly short.
If you want I will measure when I get home.
Just out of curiosity, LaRue adaptor work? I attach my Haris bipod via a sling swivel mounts. LaRue adapter doesn’t look like it presents a sling swivel??
