Title says it all, which laser grip which you choose for a S&W J-frame?

No one uses CT laser grips? :blink:
I have LG405 on both of my Jframes. a 340pd and 640-1
I prefer the 405’s because I pocket carry 100% of the time.
LG405 all day. Gun remains compact, soaks up recoil nicely. I also regularly pocket or ankle carry no issue.
I had an LG350G on a gun for a while, but as nice as it was to shoot (and the green laser was bright!) it gave up way too much in concealment. With the extra grip length, the gun was too big for what its capabilities were.
Yeah I want to keep it compact, I had pretty much ruled out the LG350 because of it’s size and the DS-124, what ever that thing is.
The LG105 looks a little smaller but I can see better control and comfort with the LG405.
I came across a Hogue version I didn’t even know existed. Anyone have experience with them? I wonder how they rate compared to CT.
I’ve used the LG-405 for years. Outside of the need to confirm the zero once in a while (as they do shift) I’ve had no issues.
Not that. Not too many people carrying wheel guns any more… I have the 405s. The pocket carry very well.
I pulled the trigger on a set of LG-405s, they arrived today and I installed them on my 442. It the right choice.
LG-405 is the grips I have used previously, really like them
I have LG405’s on all of mine.
If they ever make a green laser in this size I would switch to that.
I’ve pocket-carried a model 38 airweight for years. I chose an airweight j-frame because it was convenient - about the size/weight of a wad of keys and I “would carry” it when not belt carrying a duty-sized pistol. Wasn’t really a fan of lasers at the time, but being a F/A instructor, CT offered a large discount. I chose the LG105 because it’s hard polymer grips slide in/out of the pocket easier, minimize printing and the contour mimics the old Spegel “boot grip” which is fairly effective. I’ve really liked the LG105 grips - laser has made it practical for reasonably accurate shooting at normal pistol ranges (like head shots at the 25) and offered targeting in poor light & unconventional positions. People don’t carry revolvers as much these days, but a j-frame you do have beats the larger gun you decided not to bring because it was too heavy or otherwise inconvenient. Laser grips provide the j-frame with usable means of accurately aiming the little beast.
I always use the 405s. They are very compact and that is the point with my J
