Hey Guys, I’m new to the site and wanted to buy a new AR. I hope you guys can suggest what brands and models are reliable. My budget is up to $1500…so let me know what you guys recommend.

Plinker, home defense, tactical classes? If you want quality, jdodd hit it on the head…but forgot Colt;) Smith & Wesson is also a good brand. Be sure to check out the “sticky” threads, as those have tons of info that still help me.
you’ve certainly come to the right place. buy yourself a beer, or two, find a comfortable place to lay up and start reading through active threads you see and use the search button-often. you’ll get that a lot with an open appeal such as you’ve thrown out here. but you’ll be rewarded with straight up, no bs opinions, all yielded from solid experience.
