I am currently looking for an accurate FMJ round in 40 for punching paper in my Glocks and don’t have the money to try all the rounds out there, I can say I was not impressed with Remington. I will say that I have shot s&b in 9 mm out of a Glock and it was very accurate though but it’s hard to find in 40 around me.
I know somebody here has some answers or ideas to help me out.
What does “accurate” mean to you?
What is a typical bullseye score for you? B8 bullseye, 10 rounds, 25 yards.
How did you measure and assess the accuracy of the Remington and S&B?
The purple cased ammo linked in the third post is what we use for training and qualifications. Its accuracy is more than adequate for silhouettes and steel, if that’s what you will be shooting.
Out of my Glock 22 Gen 4, American Eagle 180 grain FMJ has been the best. Second best has been Federal RTP 180 grain FMJ. If I’m doing my part I can hold 2-3” groups at 10 yards with a moderate cadence of fire.
