Is it possible to buy directly from LMT or BCM? All I see on the web is Uppers & lowers, with complete rifles a rarity. When I do find them, the prices are $2000+, well beyond MSRP.
I’d like it if someone could point out to me where I can order/buy an LMT or BCM complete rifle. I’m particularly interested in the LMT MRP 16" (Not the CQB) 1-7 twist CL barrel.

I know LMT sells dealer direct, but I don’t know about retail sales. Check out LMTs website.
Also, check with some of the site sponsors/dealers on this board. I am sure they can get you squared away on one.

I’ve been to the G & R website. Again, it’s uppers & lowers, not complete rifles. So do I have to email ‘Grant’ to get a complete rifle?
LMT’s website has mrp uppers & lowers but you can’t add them to your cart, I tried plenny times.
Grant is a member here and I got my BCM from him he will go out of his way to get you what you want. Is there a reason you cant buy a complete lower and a complete upper? Grant will do all the assembly you need him too. What I mean is does it absolutely have to be a complete rifle?

I bought my MRP upper directly from LMT through their web site. Be prepared to wait though. It took 6-7 months for them to deliver, but I ordered during the height of the post election rush.
Well, never having done it, I really don’t know what’s involved. Is it just two retaining pins? If there’s “nothing to it” then why aren’t the complete rifles readily available?
Thats it two pins, I ordered mine from Grant on a monday everything was here by that friday. You do need to check his inventory and it may take longer if he installs your rail or other what nots. If he was online he would have already chimed in on this thread and got you straight. Like I said shoot him an email he will reply promtly

ARs are meant to be opened up and put back together in just a few seconds. The pins that hold the upper and lower together are held captive by a spring and detent on the magazine well side and by the egg plate at the stock side. Push from the left side (manufacturer info) to take the upper off, push from the right side to reinstall the upper.
The pivot pin is the the one at the front/magwell end of the weapon, and the takedown pin is at the safety/stock end.
The pins don’t require a hammer/punch. They are “take down pins”… simply snap them in, or out… they are attached with the lower. Simply line up the holes (in the upper) with the pins… push the pins through and they snap into place. Completely brainless “assembly”.
A 2nd grader can do it.

BCM does not offer complete rifles. So you will have to buy the upper and lower seperate and then push the pins in yourself.

Buy an upper and a lower, and push the 2 pins together. Takes you about 30 seconds and voila, you have a complete AR.
