Like the detent pin, detent pin spring and the roll pin that holds it all together?
citizen’s armory or damage usa(?)
One out of three…
I couldn’t find any of the parts at Citizen’s Armory, but I did find the detent spring at Damage USA.
I don’t need the trigger guard assembly, just the individual parts.
You’re trying to make a fully removable detent retained guard aren’t you ![]()
Otherwise, they aren’t worth rebuilding.
Just get a new one and if the parts are destined for another project and strip them out.
It’ll be much more cost effective that way, especially if other little parts are ordered at the same time.
Well, that and you can find standard trigger guards all day long, some even as *giveaways.
But the actual components? Not so much.
*(hint: mabe put a note in the ‘pay it forward’ thread down in GD)
TOP SECRET…
Has this been done before? I’ve been searching the internets to see if this has been done before but haven’t found anything.

Alright, I found the detent pin at the DPMS website.
So all I need to know now is the size of the roll pin so I can go buy a box from Mcmastercarr.com
Done. ![]()
why don’t you just ask people to send their extras to you… i’m sure no one on this forum is actually running a stock trigger guard.
I have a few standard trigger guards myself.
Damage USA has all of the parts for the trigger guard if you call them, and Brownells has all of the Colt parts for the trigger guard.
Midway, Brownells and of course DPMS, have the DPMS trigger guard detent and spring…
So I think I’m set. Thanks everybody!
PSA should carry thats stuff as well
They do not have those parts listed on there site.
Oops, you’re wrong ![]()
