When do you need an H2 buffer with Geissele's Super 42?

They come with an H buffer, but you can make them heavier. For a 16" carbine-length gas system (Colt 6920 to be exact) is an H2 necessary with the Super 42 spring? The M4A1 comes with an H2 buffer, so is that indicative of it being “better”? Yes, the 6920 is a 16" tube and the M4A1 has a 14.5" one, but does that make a difference?

Talking about shooting 5.56mm NATO pressure loads, no .223. Unsuppressed.

I found that’s the super 42 has a different feel to it, but the braided spring doesn’t really help with slowing the cyclic rate, so I’ve still adjusted the buffer as I would with and standard spring/buffer combo.
