Anyone here know if the rear sight mounted on Kelly McCann’s Glock is a Trijicon RedDot?
The cover shot shows it as well as the vid-clip on <Inside the Crucible Vol. 1>.
It’s an Optima 2000, the predecessor of the Trijicon.
Optima, Tasco, Firepoint? Are these related and somehow Trijicon now has it?
The original was the Firepoint from Britain. Tasco offered it as the Optima; I don’t know if it was licensed or imported. When Tasco crashed and burned, the sight showed up later as the JPoint. Now we have the Trijicon.
I don’t know the exact differences between the sights but it looks like an evolutionary process.
