Whatever Happened to LMT?

Rainier Arms has a number of lmt rifles on sale for father’s day, fyi.

I had several of their uppers about 10 years ago, all ran great except a 10.5 that gave me fits. I just looked at Rainier and they are $400-500 more than a Colt for basically the same gun!

They might have priced themselves out of the market…

I had problems with my 10.5 as well but I changed from an H2 buffer to an H and all was well. I don’t know about now but their gas ports were smaller on their earlier 10.5 uppers and that usually was the culprit to the problem. Overall though, I like LMT products. Their MWS 308 is the bees knees.

The shop I picked my mws 308 up from saturday had a few lmt rifles instock.Im pretty use to seeing them for sale on Rainier’s website as well.

Not true, at least not what our rep told us. The minimum was 3 or 5 guns spread out as far apart as you wanted.

Lmt is moving, they are also getting ready to start producing their own barrels. This might be the cause of the delays/lack of market presence.

I still love my MRP and have no plans of getting rid of it. MY LGS had some LM8 MWS’ , full 10.5" SBR’s, and 10.5" uppers in stock last week when I was there.

Someone I know recently had an issue and when he contacted LMT they confirmed that they opened their ports on commercial guns from the previous .071. They didn’t give an exact number when asked.

No! :frowning:

Roger that.
