What would you do?

I have an RAI AK-47 double-underfolder. I like it quite a bit, but I’m just not thrilled by the underfolder. Don’t get me wrong, it’s cool and makes for a compact rifle when times call for it. But that said, I just don’t use that feature very often.

I’m wanting an SGL21 to go with my newly purchased SGL31. Then I’d be done on rifles for the forseeable future.

My question is, do I dump the RAI for an SGL21 + cash/ammo/etc or do I keep it and make do with the u/f?

No reason to make do. If you can’t just buy the SGL sell the underfolder and use the money for an SGL.

There are plenty of people who would love to have that rifle and would pay for it

Double folders are running around $2K- sell it and buy your other desired AK and other toys.

I really dig the double underfolder. I guarantee you that once you get the SGL21, you will think you are done but there is always room for more. Have you thought of maybe putting the SGL21 on layaway so you don’t have to sell the double? Just a thought. If it was me, I couldn’t let the double go. The SGL21’s are readily available today but the double is not.

O

Very true. I should just hold onto the double u/f. I guess it’s just love at first sight, ever since I picked up the SGL31 I’ve wanted the SGL21 to go with.
